Her father's business partners are after it for their own selfish motives, but the two manage to overcome all obstacles to win her over - which eventually leads them to fight against corruption in society at large!The story takes place in Mumbai. Kabootar is a cricket lover who dreams of becoming a famous cricketer. One day he meets Lucky Singh, who promises to help him to become a cricketer. Kabootar decides to marry Laila Kapoor, the daughter of his friends owner of Lucky Singh's chain store 'Lucky Kabootar'.One day while playing cricket the lightning strikes Kabootar and he loses consciousness. When he wakes up in hospital, Lucky Singh introduces himself and shows him that Laila is in love with him. After that like any good friend they decide to help each other get their love in return for money. The film was released on 14th October, 2012, 11:00 AM. It was released in over 5500 screens worldwide. It received mixed reviews from critics and audience alike. In their verdict the Film rating is 2/5 by The Hindu(Hindi). As per IMDB rating it has received 3.7 rating. The movie also won 5 awards in the 6th Annual Mumbai Film Awards 2013 for Best Actor (Arun Shanker), Bested Movie (Arun Shanker), Best Music Director (Sajid-Wajid), Best Lyricist (Rahat Indori) And Most Entertaining Film Of The Year( Arun Shanker ). It has been nominated for Best Hindi Film In National Awards 2014. In 2015 it was selected as the official entry for Best Feature Film in International Indian Film Academy Awards(IIFA) NY 2015, But it was not nominated for Best Film category. Also it submitted as the official entry in IIFA Beijing 2016 for Best Hindi Movie but again it failed to reach international stage. The film released on 16th February, 2013, 4:30 PM.
